Westchester Judo was founded by Sauveur Chris Soriano.
Sauveur, a former French national and international competitor, is a fifth-degree black belt who reached the podium in international competitions. He has earned full certification as a Judo Master-Instructor from the French Judo Federation, training with world class French Judo players.
International coach USA Judo, Sauveur also supports and coaches international champions.
Westchester Judo opened its doors in 2001 and now has more than one hundred students who participate in national and international competitions several times a year.
The club is registered with the United States Judo Association and USA Judo.
The United States Judo Association recently ranked Westchester Judo top 20 in the USA.
Our club is housed within a state-of-the-art personal training center, Evolution Fitness (Visit Evolution Fitness website: www.efitnessny.com).
